Mizi Bistro Set Meal Dinner

Hello all!
Last night I went to Mizi Bistro at New World Park, Penang. The ambiance was good. We wanted to have dinner with Fr Henry Rajoo so my family and I decided to have western food for dinner.

When we arrived the service was very good. The waitress that served us was very polite and cordial. She also gave useful recommendations about their specialty dishes.

The thing i like most about Mizi Bistro is that they have set meals with really good mushroom soup (forgot to take picture-Google "mizi bistro mushroom soup" for image). Below is the set meal deal:

I did not manage to try the other three dishes properly so I wont give a taste review but I know that my family and Fr Henry really enjoyed the meal. The Salmon was FANTASTIC with a tasty paper-like-wrap according to Fr Henry. The chicken and fish had tasty sauces and were delicious according to my parents. So that's all for now!

Saujana Curry House

Last Saturday I went to Taiping to visit my grandaunt in hospital.

Anyway for lunch my family and I went to a shop called Saujana Curry House for some good fish head curry. We had discovered this place one day by accident when we were really hungry in Taiping and could not find a good place to eat. So I guess the "discovery" of this place really paid off because they really serve SUPERB kick-ass curry.

This place apparently is very renown and people come from Penang, KL and even Johor to eat the fish head curry during their travels. The shop owner (I forgot his name) was very cordial and friendly towards us and was telling us that the recipe first started from his mother-in-law. PLUS he also remembered us from our previous trip-AWESOME!!!

Anyway back to the food. We had ordered only three dishes and white rice. There's not much variety of food in Saujana Curry House because people  mostly (99% of em') come for the fish head curry. 

The dishes we took were fried egg with onions, fried pork chops, and fish head curry:

All in all, it was an awesome meal. The egg was nothing great but the pork chops and fish head curry were very tasty. 

The pork chops were marinated with some kind of sweet/soy saucy kind of sauce before frying (i assume from the taste) so it had a unique taste. 

The fish head curry was the star of the meal because it was soooooooooo GOOOOOOOOOD! It had a 'santan-lemak' kind of taste that just leaves you wanting more! I could not take my hands off getting more and more curry. The curry was not spicy but was sour and had a slight tinge of sweetness. 

I really enjoyed this meal.

If you ever go to Taiping, give it a try.

You won't regret it!

Marshall's Burger's New Place- Burma Road, Penang

Hello peeps!

I just wanna say I can't wait for the new Marshall's Burger shop to open in Burma Road, Penang.

I've been a fan of this burger for a while now.

WAIT! 

You must be asking : What is so great about this burger??

Let me explain.

This was taken around a month ago-I'm enjoying every bite

The Bull with extra patty- 300g of beefy goodness

Taste: 9.5/10 (haven't found any better ones)

Price: 9/10

The burger that I love MOST from his stall is called The Bull. I usually ask for an extra patty. A normal bull would be one 175g beef patty, bacon (PORK!!!), cheese and vege. I love it because it has an awesome distinct smoky BBQ-like taste. The bacon adds to the EPIC-ness of this burger! The juiciness of the patty just makes it melt in your mouth!!

Anyway I wanna just share that they have a new shop that they are going to open soon!

I myself can't wait!
